Improve Breathing Before & During Training

A good way to clear your breathing before training…Peppermint Essential Oil

Menthol, which is a monoterpene alcohol, is one of the main constituents in Peppermint Essential Oil. It is primarily known for its skin-cooling and respiratory-supporting benefits. Clinical and experimental research suggests that aromatic use of menthol may yield a sensation of soothing and cooling to the respiratory tract, which promotes feelings of clear breathing.

Clearer breathing equates to the ability to consume more oxygen during training. More oxygen consumption equates to improved training efficiency, especially during cardiovascular training. The ability to train harder and longer equals faster results toward your fitness goals. That makes it a perfect addition to your pre-workout routine.

Putting a few drops in your palms, rubbing them together, and directly inhaling is one of the most popular ways to use Peppermint EO to support feelings of clear breathing.

Cold pressing is an expression distillation process, typically used for citrus oils when producing essential oils, and uses high mechanical pressure to produce oil from the lemon rind. While other distillation processes use heat, the process of cold pressing merely squeezes the oil from the rind, with the help of mechanical pressure.

Lemon oil is comprised of chemicals called monoterpenes, which are generally known to have uplifting characteristics. Limonene and beta-Pinene are two monoterpenes that Lemon Oil has in common with other essential oils, like Bergamot, Wild Orange, Grapefruit, Lime, and Douglas Fir.
